I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be a woman. The responsibility of taking care of a family, cooking, cleaning, working, having babies…. All of that takes a toll on our bodies! The stress alone can make you pack on the pounds, so why not make a change? I have devised an easy-to-follow plan to get rid of the mommy tummy once and for all! If you’re serious about a flat, smooth tummy – this is for you! These small lifestyle changes will lead to BIG results.
Eating habits that will vanquish the mommy tummy:
Eat a low-carb diet (60 – 100 per day)
No processed foods (Stick to the 80/20- rule. 80% whole natural foods, 20% “other”)
Don’t drink your calories. Did you know one bottle of Ruby Red Squirt has 78 carbs?! Instead, drink lots of water. Add lemon, cucumbers, or another fruit if you like. If you don’t like water… I’m not sure what to tell you but once you start drinking more of it – your body WILL start to crave it! If I don’t drink about 1 gallon of water per day, my body feels like a dry sponge.
Eat smaller portions, and count calories using an app like My Fitness Pal to see what you need to modify.
Don’t be too hard on yourself, if you mess up one day – don’t quit! That’s like saying if you had one flat tire you would pop the other 3! I promise you, that if you tell yourself “I don’t want that” rather than “I can’t have that” it will make this so much easier. ❤
Weight loss is a journey – stick with it. Don’t restrict yourself too much. Eat the foods you want, but eat less of them and stick within your calorie range.

Easy Exercise Regimen:
Lift weights for 30 minutes per day; 5x per week. Weight lifting burns more calories than cardio and helps to tone your body without bulking up. This leads to a slim and feminine physique. Click here for an easy to follow weight-lifting regimen for beginners.
If weight lifting simply isn’t your thing, go for a brisk 30-minute walk each night before dinner.
You can also plank for 10 – 60 seconds one time per day.
Once you start to get in the habit of these things, exercise will become addicting. It makes you feel great, raises your serotonin levels, combats fatigue and depression and turns you into a stone cold fox!
